Since moving to the Algarve, I've discovered the enchanting beauty of the South West coast of Portugal. From Porto Covo to Alvor, this coastline offers abundant photogenic spots on the Alentejo coast, Costa Vicentina Natural Park and Western Algarve

Exploring Photogenic Sagres

We will explore all of this magnificent coastline from our base in Sagres. Being based in one location offers us a very flexible approach to how and where we will shoot each time. Sagres, known for wild beauty, cliffs, wonderful choice of food, and epic ocean views and of course, Cape St. Vincent lighthouse is breathtaking at sunset.

Photography Spots in Lagos and Alvor

In Lagos and around, capture the dramatic cliffs of Ponta da Piedade. In Alvor, photograph the classic sweeping beaches and striking sea stacks of the Algarve.

Astrophotography in the Algarve: Night Sky Wonders

Weather permitting, we'll stay out for some astrophotography if everyone is happy to do so, as the south west of Portugal offers clear night skies with minimal light pollution (Bortle 3) where we have some wonderful opportunities to photograph the night sky.
