There's absolutely no question about the incredible photography opportunities in Ireland. I've always believed that the West of Ireland, particularly the counties of Galway, Mayo, and Clare, boasts some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in the world. This photography workshop focuses on capturing the stunning landscapes and seascapes of Galway, Mayo, and Clare. From the unique limestone terrain of The Burren, bursting with wildflowers in late April and early May, to the rugged beauty of Connemara with its dramatic mountain ranges and serene lakes, and the breathtaking coastal views in Co. Mayo, you will discover endless photogenic spots.

Workshop Highlights

• The Burren National Park: We will have a flexible approach to shooting locations, capturing everything from unique limestone landscapes to rare wildflowers. Lets not forget the mighty Cliffs of Moher

• Connemara National Park: We’ll photograph the stunning Twelve Bens mountain range, Pines Island and the pristine beaches of the coast aka the “Caribbean of Ireland”.

• Achill Sound: This small corner of Ireland has dramatic cliffs, epic views and Keem Bay (one of the best beaches in the world!)

• Downpatrick Head: The iconic Dún Briste sea stack is a perfect sunset spot on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way

• Astrophotography: Weather permitting, we'll venture out for night sky photography, taking advantage of the clear, minimal light pollution skies in Ireland’s premier Dark Sky Park.
